We all have heard of many traits passed on to us from our parents, from our eye color to our height. But, did you know that genetically inherited traits are not limited to your physical appearance? Surprisingly, some of your […]
Give Me Glow Cupcake Matte Pressed Shadow ($7.00 for 0.105 oz.) is a medium pink with moderate, warm undertones and a matte finish. The texture was smooth, velvety, and substantial, which resulted in full color coverage in a single layer that was blendable but didn’t sheer out too easily. It wore well for eight and a half hours before fading visibly. Give Me Glow Nude Rose Matte Pressed Shadow ($7.00 for 0.105 oz.) is a light-medium pink with subtle, warm undertones and a matte finish. It had opaque color coverage that applied evenly to bare skin and blended out without Continue Reading…
This is my partner in crime! Side note: I’m a law-abiding citizen, and the only crime I’m guilty of is loving a base with barely-there coverage.
Rose Inc Skin Enhance ($49) is designed purposefully to add a little something-something to your skin. If you’ve ever tried any of the OG sheer bases (Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer, IT Cosmetics CC, NARS TM, First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Tinted Moisturizer, etc.) and felt like you were wearing too much makeup, this is the base for you.
It caters to a very specific makeup person. Someone who wants…
Skin to look like real skin;
A finish that has subtle pearly shine without glitter;
Freckles and variations of texture and pigment to still peek through; and
A base that feels and looks lightweight.
It’s fresh, summery skin at its finest. This style of makeup speaks volumes to me at the moment, and I’m really into it!
My skin is combo oily and dry, and I wear the shade 080. Two pumps subtly blurs my pores and adds a hint of tint to even everything out.

T-shirts don’t have an easy life. Food, drinks, stains, and even dirt can cause the best-looking t-shirt to have a permanent nasty and unsightly stain. While a stained shirt is still 100% fine to wear and use, just going outside in public can give even the bravest of people jitters about what other people will …
Many of our clients are concerned about how to care for their hair extensions using the sandwich method, ring extensions or keratin, and whether they can cope. Hair extensions require special attention due to the fact that they are dead hair and we do not supply them with natural ingredients ..Continue Reading
ColourPop What the Shell 9-Pan Shadow Palette (Plastic) ($12.00 for 0.28 oz.) is a new, limited edition nine-pan palette that included a mix of powder and cream-to-powder eyeshadows across matte and shimmer finishes. I felt like the quality was lower than is typical for ColourPop, as the mattes were a little more powdery and prone to fallout and the shimmers were harder to use with a dry brush. I Sea U has a sheer base (as intended by the brand) with champagne gold and warmer gold shimmer and sparkle throughout. Why, yes. Once upon a time, there were two Strawberry & Rhubarb Hand Pies in this box!
I saw these pies at TJ’s and they took me waaaaay back to childhood in the ’80s, when I’d go grocery shopping with my mom on Saturdays. I was allowed to pick one sweet treat, and sometimes, I’d pick a Hostess Fruit Pie. Cherry was my favorite! What was yours?
Anywho, last night I had one for dessert (it’s delightful), and when I turned the box over to read the back, I was shocked to see instructions for warming the pie up in an oven or an air fryer!
I’d always eaten Hostess Pies straight outta the package and had NO IDEA that one could warm the pies up before eating, LOL! Am I the only person on earth that didn’t know? I’m still reeling from the revelation.
By the way, I didn’t warm up the Strawberry & Rhubarb pie beforehand, because at that point I had already taken out the vanilla ice cream and was not about to wait 15 minutes for the oven to heat up. It was still hella good.
